The  THE INTERNATIONAL SUMMER WRITING CONTEST is closed.
But ICAN Club will continue its encouragement program.

Young Learners will be awarded a Winner Sticker for each post which scores +500 points 
Five Winner Stickers = a prize

Adults will be offered a 5 per cent discount to attend a session in ICAN Club for each post + 1500 points.  
Read more here

But do not write for prizes. Prizes are just a game to keep you interested and feel appreciated. 

Writing for publication will dramatically improve your essays and will get you to the next level of real-life communication. Staying in top three longest will be randomly awarded by ICAN Club's prizes.

Five reasons to develop writing skills:

                Last summer my family and I were in Turkey.

               We stayed at the hotel Utopia world. This hotel consisted of one big building and a lot of small buildings. It stood at a very high hill over the Mediterranean Sea. Territory of the hotel was very big and there were a lot of animals. Near our building lived two nice mountain goats.

                These goats were very funny and I fed them grass. They liked me very much. We were there during two weeks and every day they waited for me near our house. For our departure we became the best of friends! It was very sad to leave my new Turkish friends.

Well done, Misha! What a lovely goat! It's sad goats cannot use the Internet to send you an email or go on Skype, isn't it? 
You have also demonstrated a good language.
Remember two new rules:
a) In the names, use the proper name, and then the common name: Hilton Hotel (Not: Hotel Hilton). And use "the" before hotels.
b) during + noun; for + number: during holidays, but for two weeks.
