Our Dialogue with Art

Our Dialogue with Art

Add to favorites
!!! Requires preparation

Ars longa, vita brevis (Life is short, and art long)...

This Latin aphorism has proved to be true. The name of the artist who sculptured the Venus de Milo was lost in history, but we can still admire the perfect beauty of her figure and the refined work of the sculptor.

However, not everyone can appreciate art. Visual arts use a specific language, and often our way to the comprehension of the beauty of art goes through the challenges of learning and the pains of changing. Let's talk about our perception of art, the artists that we admire and explain why they are dear to us.

Each participant should prepare a short talk (not longer than 5 minutes) with visuals. A computer and projector will be provided, but you can also bring your books and postcards.

Besides, we will play a game, which is based on arts and listen to exciting stories about trips to Amsterdam and Israel, to the scred land at Christmas.

The session will be conducted in English. We have a limited number of seats. Please, sign up before midnight on Monday Jan. 22 or buy your ticket right now here.

PAYMENT: if you prefer to pay in the Club, please, check the prices and make sure you have the exact amount (do not need change).
