Are you studying English? And what do you know about the countries of the language you study, about their culture, history, and interesting facts? Come to ICAN English Speaking Club on Tuesday, June 25, 2019 to boast your knowledge and also learn something new. "Trivia quiz" means "a quiz based on a collection of small, random facts". This means that the questions will be unpredictable and will challenge your wide knowledge. However, if you all want to prepare, here is a list of the trivia categories:
a) names of objects, especially parts of big objects or scenes
b) idioms
c) words with different meanings. like "arms" (two upper limbs) and "arms" (weapons)
d) false friends (when words in Russian and English sound the same but have different meanings: brilliant/бриллиант
e) homonyms/homophones/homographs: different words that are written or pronounced similarly: wind (air)/wind(bend)
f) modern MUSIC!!!
g) famous people
h) words that are different in BrE and AmE.
i) riddles (jokes)  
Look them up and come to fight. It will be a team game. A prize awaits the winners.
