How to give an effective talk, how to convince people, how to be successful in negotiations not only at work, but also in daily life – all these will be practiced in ICAN English speaking club in Minsk on January 31, 2017. It will be a follow-up session and it requires preparation. You can read the summary of How to Use Language to Grow? here.

PREPARATION

Step 1. Read the communication tips here.

Step 2. Remember a situation that required a more powerful message.

Step 3. Compose an effective talk.

Step 4. Come to ICAN English speaking club to see if it works and get advice.

If you cannot make up your mind what to talk about, please, consider this:

- present yourself/ your project/ you company at a Reception;
- remember a case when you were not able to defend your opinion and re-speak it;
- convince someone to do something, like taking up sports, eating more vegetables, or going out more often;
- tell a story to entertain us.
