Post-Christmas Gift Exchange

Post-Christmas Gift Exchange

Winter Holiday Season is a gift giving time. We prepare a lot of presents for our near and dear, and we get a lot from them. Sadly, the gifts we get are not always suitable: wrong size, wrong style or color, or we have too many of them.
This is why we suggest to get rid of unsuitable objects and have them replaced by something to our liking. It's your chance to turn disappontment into joy.

The idea is similar to the White Elephant / Yankee Swap, but we will modify the rules to create more opportunities to master the language:
The RULES:
1. Bring things that you have (do NOT buy anything for this occasion)
2. Bring good quality things that might be useful for someone in the Club
(check the sign up list on Monday January 4, 2016)
3. The gift should be wrapped so that to make it impossible to guess what is inside.
4. Prepare to present your gift in the best possible way (describe it, explain its usefulness) - people will make their "purchase" decisions based on your promotion speech.

We have already had such a party, it was a great success. You can see the photos here to have a better idea of how it goes.
Unwanted Gift Swap as a way to practice spearing skills, haggling and getting to know each other better.
