Real China: Destroying Stereotypes

Real China: Destroying Stereotypes

China, the most populous multicultural country in the world, a fast-growing economy and a country of ancient civilization is in the focus of everybody's interest. However, what do we actually know about this country. Due to its vast territory and incredible diversity, China remains terra incognita even for those, who have been there. Gaps in our knowledge are usually filled by stereotypes, which create a deceptive feeling of "knowing", which stops us from discovering the true glory of the country.
On June 21, 2016 we will have a chance to listen to Erin Hsi https://www.facebook.com/erin.xi.3

While living in other countries, Erin has observed a lot of the misconceptions of China, such as: people  think that the Chinese language is difficult, that Chinese people eat dog meat and that all Chinese know kung fun and Tao. Erin is going to break these false stereotypes and make us aware of the real China. Please, feel free to ask for questions in advance either in the comments below this post or send Erin a message.
Make sure you sign up before midnight the 20th June. See you soon!
