Communication against Manipulation

Communication against Manipulation

We are living during an amazing period of transformation, when a scarcity is being replaced with abundance, which gives people a chance to live without making others unhappy. Now everyone is looking for win-win options and cooption (COOPeration + competiTION). However, we have inherited the mentality of the past, which compels people to fight instead of building, and manipulate instead of negotiating. Manipulations occurs at all levels: by the government, by press, in business, at schools, within families, etc. And we need (1) to be aware and armed against it, and (2) learn how to resolve issues in an effective, nonmanipulative way.
Let's see how we can deal with that. On Tuesday July 12, 2016 we will analyze some issues that the participants find important, identify manipulations,  discuss alternative solutions and in such a way become more successful in communication.

This session will be a logical continuation of our communication training in learning about each other and presenting one another. We will hear two first PechaKucha presentations, which will demonstrate the others how to do the task assigned here.

And we will also continue preparations for Spellathon on Aug 9, 2016.

Join us for the useful fun. Please, sign up before midnight on Monday 18, 2016.
