The  THE INTERNATIONAL SUMMER WRITING CONTEST is closed.
But ICAN Club will continue its encouragement program.

Young Learners will be awarded a Winner Sticker for each post which scores +500 points 
Five Winner Stickers = a prize

Adults will be offered a 5 per cent discount to attend a session in ICAN Club for each post + 1500 points.  
Read more here

But do not write for prizes. Prizes are just a game to keep you interested and feel appreciated. 

Writing for publication will dramatically improve your essays and will get you to the next level of real-life communication. Staying in top three longest will be randomly awarded by ICAN Club's prizes.

RESULTS OF THE INTERNATIONAL SUMMER WRITING CONTEST 2016 (ADULTS, 18+)

I am happy to announce the winners of the THE INTERNATIONAL SUMMER WRITING CONTEST 2016:

1st place: Marina  Marina (Minsk, Belarus) with 12,123 points
2nd place: Darya Shmat (Minsk, Belarus) with 7,486 points
3d place: Mohamed Essalih (Algiers, Algeria) with 3,382 points.

The 1st and 2nd place certificates and the prize for 1st place will be awarded in ICAN Club on September 6, 2016, and the certificate for 3d place will be mailed to Mohamed.

The detailed list of the texts submitted for the Contest and their scores can be viewed as an attachment to this post. 

All participants and contributions are appreciated. We hope that the habit of writing your memories, stories and observations will remain with you and you will keep practicing and sharing your valuable thought and feelings.

Yes, Mohamed, one has to fight for to the last minute if they wish to win, And this strategy works in every sphere of life.
But do not wait for next summer's contest. Practice now on a regular basis to gain the power.
And also practice noticing interesting facts, events, people, recording your thoughts and feelings - it will be a treasure years after.
