When you come home alone in the evening, you must be careful. If an unknown man is following you, you don't have to panic. You will pretend that you are talking with someone on the phone . Tell mom: « Meet me I'm already coming up». And the person will immediately depart from you.

You have written an important post. I think it would be good for everyone to know this trick and to be safe.
However, I think it would be safer if children and young teenagers would not be out late without trusted adults.
Anyway, the advice is good.
Language:
1)
Maybe, the title of the text should be clearer.
Homecoming = an occasion when someone comes back to their home after a long absence
You need "Coming Home Late at Night"
2)
You should have used the modal verb "should". It is the best if you give recommendations.
